Unleash Your Potential in 2017!

Happy New Year 2017!!!

Have you set a new year resolution or

you want this year to be hugely different to the previous one?

Here are a few tips that will help you to get you started on the right tract.

  1. You Have to Have a DREAM!

What is it that you really, really want to happen this year?

And who do you want to become?

Something that you can imagine accomplishing, has a time frame –

you know by when you want it to happen, and it’s achievable.

There is a very powerful quote by T. E. Lawrence:

“All men dream; but not equally. Those who ream by night

in the dusty recesses of the minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity;

but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men,

for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”

Our job is to be the dangerous type!

Little tip:

 Make sure you write your dreams / goals down!

Now, there may be some of you who think that holding them in your head is just fine

and you can be successful. Hmmm, I can assure you that if you do write things down

things start to change.

 Get Visual

I learnt a tool a few years ago at the Humans Being More workshop and that really started to shift things for me.

I turned my written dream and wishes into pictures! Create your own vision board and look at it every day!

There will be such workshop sometime in spring. I will let you know nearer the time.

  1. Have a Purpose!

Don’t just chase the money, have a purposeful goal! Going after money is not always joyous journey.

  1. Say Goodbye to the DREAM STEALERS

You know, it’s so natural to talk to your friends what you are excited about but not always you will find support.

It’s takes guts to get out of the norm and do something differently and you soon realize that some

of the people around you are jealous or don’t wish you well, want to knock your confidence, ridicule you…

Choose the people around you carefully!

  1. Have a Plan

You may feel scared, you may feel you are not 100% prepared, not knowing everything

– just go for it! Begin!

And make sure you have some sort of a plan.

You will alter it as you go along but have stepping stones in place that will keep you focused.
